Yan, born & raised in Lausanne is a partner and our marketing & analytics expert, as well as our managing director.

He studied political science and economics at the University of Geneva, with a masters degree in behavioral science. He has worked in multi national companies, having experienced various positions in the healthcare sector. After having established his own marketing consultancy company which flourished for 7 years, Yan founded ELK agency with his partners David and Alan.

He brings 17 years of industry experience to the table, with a deep knowledge in marketing & analytics.

Yan lives in Lausanne with his wife and two daughters. If you want to small talk with him, good subjects are : sports, mountains, and how to drive a camper van through the Canadian outback.

David, raised in between Switzerland, South Africa and the United States, is a partner and our creative director.

He studied graphic design and illustration at Kenyon College in Ohio, before completing a master's degree in digital design and user experience at Parsons School of Design in New York City. He has worked in creative agencies in New York City and major companies in Switzerland (in the sports and technology sector). After a couple years as creative director for SIX Financial Information, he decided to launch ELK agency with his partners Yan & Alan.

He brings almost 10 years of design industry experience to the table, with a deep knowledge in digital design, user experience design & illustration.

David lives in Lausanne with his guitars, his skis and his dog. If you want to small talk with him, good subjects are: his banana tattoo, freeride skiing, the World Surf League and the expansion of the universe.

Alan, born in London and raised in Lausanne on a diet of 8 and 16-bit computers is a partner and our technical director.

One of the earliest adopters of the World Wide Web, he has worked in creative and software companies as Head of Digital. After having established his own digital agency which flourished for 14 years, Alan joined ELK agency as a founding partner.

He brings 22 years of digital industry experience to the table, with a global understanding of the digital arena.

Alan lives in Lausanne with his wife and two daughters. If you want to small talk to him, good subjects are: machines that self-propel, sustainability and human nature.
